GRAMMY, GLOBAL MUSIC, and AMERICAN PRIZE award-winning composer, producer, performer, and multi-instrumentalist Chris Shelton has been in love with music all his life.
Coming from a family of extremely talented musicians - like the legend Johnny Cash - Chris has shown, from an early age, signs that his love for music would last a lifetime.
From opening shows for Alice Cooper, Scorpions, and Ozzy Osbourne at age 20 to having pieces premiered in several countries in Europe and North and South America, Chris Shelton has toured the USA with his fellow band members, and prolifically composed and produced music for videos, jingles, and ads.
As a graduate of Berklee College of Music, and the New England Conservatory, Chris had the opportunity to study with masters of the trade and deepen his understanding of several musical genres ranging from pop to classical.
For the past 3 years, Chris Shelton has taught Music Technology at the University of Florida, where he's pursuing his Ph.D. in Composition, with a cognate in Music Production & Entrepreneurship.
